THE ANVIL
Vamos ahora con una banda italiana, que como buena hija de su escuela nacional recurre a esa seña de identidad que les ha ido dando desde finales de los 90 hasta nuestros días la fama de "power épico", en parte gracias a la herencia que Rhapsody y compañía sembraron a nivel internacional y que tanto puso el foco en Italia sobre todo en la década de 2000. En esta ocasión ese "tufillo" épico es más un ingrediente de fondo que la base misma de la música de esta nueva banda que bebe además claramente de una concepción clásica de la "old school" para crear su sonido. Hagel Stone se forma en 2010 y hasta la fecha de esta reseña ha editado tan solo un LP, este "Where is your god now" de 2013, y del que hoy quiero dejar un tema en el blog. Poco más que añadir, buena composición, una producción más que correcta y ese guiño al metal clásico que se percibe a lo largo y ancho de su obra han sido argumentos suficientes para que al menos me haya fijado en este su debut de 2013, del que como decía más arriba hoy quiero dejar un tema por aquí, concretamente este "The anvil" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
