REVELATIONS
Cuarta obra de
estudio de los inigualables Maiden, de título "Piece of mind", de 1983,
un disco que llega en una época en que la genial banda británica estaba
aún expandiendo su imperio metálico a lo largo y ancho del planeta, en
concreto, con este álbum terminaron de entrar en el mercado americano
alcanzando esta obra el número 70 en las listas de ventas
estadounidenses, el puesto más alto hasta ese momento en aquella tierra.
Como dato interno de la banda, justo antes de la salida de este disco,
el batería Cliff Burr es despedido de Iron Maiden, siendo sustituido por
el carismático Nicko McBrain, procedente de la banda francesa "Trust".
El disco que hoy nos ocupa se transformó instantáneamente en un éxito
internacional, gracias a temas como "The Trooper", o "Flight of Icarus",
sin olvidarnos del resto del disco que completa una obra muy en la
línea Maiden. Tras alcanzar el número tres en el Reino Unido en cuanto a
ventas, la consiguiente gira de presentación de la obra en vivo les
hizo visitar lugares tan pintorescos como Las Bahamas, y muchos otros
visitados por vez primera por la banda ese año de 1983, certificando
ante millones de personas que su directo era, (y es), uno de los mejores
que uno puede pagar por ver. Quiero dejar otra canción de este disco en
