FOREST  PARTY

Desde luego que la escuela de los escoces "Alestorm" ha calado en muchas bandas desde que éstos comenzasen, una influencia tanto en la temática, en las composiciones como en esa actitud despreocupada y jocosa. Buen ejemplo de ello es el de sus compatriotas "Rumahoy", en muchos aspectos un clon de Alestorm, salvo en la voz del "Capitan Yarrface" el australiano "Luke Philp" muy especial y reconocible. Hablamos de un estilo que recurre mucho a la instrumentación Folk, a una estructura fiestera con una base power, temática, por supuesto, corsaria e histórica y una estética misteriosa encapuchados con pasamontañas. Desde luego que tras la irrupción de Alestorm a estos no se les puede atribuir nada nuevo, pero los amantes del sonido de aquellos disfrutarán del que facturan estos. En activo desde 2011, Rumahoy ha editado dos LP's de estudio, su debut "The Triumph Of Piracy" de 2018, y "Time II: Party" de 2019. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog una de las canciones de su debut, en concreto "Forest Party", como digo absolutamente "Alestorm", y de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
