AGENTS OF STEEL

Vamos de nuevo con otra banda ochentera, en esta ocasión los estadounidenses Agent Steel, con su proto power speed metal con influencia Thrash. Agent Steel se forman en 1984 y han tenido dos épocas de actividad como grupo, la primera que duró tan solo cuatro años y en la que publicaron dos LP's, a mi entender los mejores, y una segunda época desde 1998 en adelante, aunque actualmente no está claro si siguen en activo o no, una segunda época en la que han editado tres LP's si bien el último de ellos está fechado en 2007, desde entonces silencio aunque tampoco se han declarado disueltos. Como decía su sonido flirtea con el power y el thrash aunque, sobre todo en sus inicios el influjo speed era muy claro, y en esa onda nos dejaron dos buenos discos como fueron su primer LP "Skeptics apocalypse" de 1985, del que hoy quiero dejar un tema en el blog, y su segunda obra "Unstoppable force" de 1987. En total por lo tanto 5 LP's y un EP componen su discografía. Su temática siempre termina por referirse a alienigenas o profecías, y hoy quiero, como antes decía, dejar un tema de su debut "Skeptics apocalypse", de 1985, en concreto este "Agents of steel" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
