RAVENHEAD
La última y
magnifica obra de uno de los grupos que más me gustan en los últimos
años. Se trata de los alemanes Orden Ogan, con su "Ravenhead", de este
2015, un discazo del principio al final. Ya hemos hablado anteriormente
de Orden Ogan en nuestro blog, y tendremos que seguir haciendolo debido a
la calidad impresionante de esta banda. Formados
en 1996
comienzan a sacar demos en 1997, pero no será hasta 2004 cuando saquen
su primer larga duración Testimonium A.D., toda una declaración de
intenciones de lo que llegarían a ser más adelante. En 2008 editan su
espectacular segunda obra, "Vale", y desde ese momento todo ha ido a
más. Después su "To the end" de 2012, otro paso más hacia la cima. De gira por Europa con
Hammerfall, presentando su magnífico último disco "Ravenhead", del que
hoy estamos hablando. Ya nos referimos hace unos meses a su single
de adelanto, "Fever", del que se puede leer en el Facebook de la banda
que han vendido más de 250.000 copias, espectacular. Realmente merece la
pena seguir a estos chicos que están destinados a uno de los puestos
más altos en la cumbre de power metal internacional. De su "Ravenhead"
aconsejo toda la obra, que cuenta con colaboraciones de lujo, como la de
Chris Boltendhal de Grave Digger en el tema "Here at the end of the
world", o la de Joachin Cans de Hammerfall en la canción " Sorrow is
your tale". Hoy quiero referirme a su cación homónima al título del disco, "ravenhead", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
