THE CONAN SAGA
Hoy quiero referirme a otra de esas bandas jóvenes y absolutamente desconocidas que pululan por la escena internacional, se trata de los australianos Knightmare. Formados en 2005, esta banda se dedica a hacer un power metal como ellos mismos dicen en su "facebook", intenso, atmosférico con retazos épicos y un fondo melódico. Hasta la fecha de esta reseña han editado un EP, "Unholy" en 2008 y un LP, "In Death's Shadow" en 2012. Hoy quiero hablar de su primer material de estudio, "Unholy", de 2008 como decía, en concreto la canción "The Conan Saga", una canción que tiene una clara inspiración en la banda sonora de la genial película de los 80 "Conan el Barbaro", la mejor banda sonora original de la historia del cine para mi gusto, y esta canción coge prestado algún trocito, bien adaptado a lo que es su canción.
