Canciones para una vida - Manowar - Die For Metal

DIE FOR METAL

De nuevo hacemos referencia al "true metal" de los estadounidenses Manowar en este blog. En esta ocasión hablemos de su penúltima obra de estudio, (reediciones aniversario aparte), titulada "Gods of war", del año 2007. En este disco encontramos muy buenos temas, con un sonido bastante acorde a lo que es este grupo, no como en su última obra en que, como ya dijimos,  la experimentación con el sonido del bajo ha hecho que el disco sea digamos mediocre. En este "Gods of war" sin embargo encontramos 16 canciones con algun tema que sobresale sobre los demás, pero bastante homogeneo, muy Manowar. Canciones como "King of kings", "Sleipnir" o "Gods of war" pasarán al repertorio clasico en directo de la banda, pero quiero hablar de otra, se trata de "Die for metal", supuestamente un bonus track, pero que a mi es una de las que más me gustan del disco, además, el videoclip hace que uno se sienta identificado con el protagonista, sobre todo al comienzo, quien no mandaría a su jefe a tomar por culo en alguna ocasión... en fin, una buena canción con un regusto muy "manowarero" que hará las delicias de los seguidores de la banda americana.
