ODE  TO  THE  BLACK  NIGHTSHADE

Mucho tiempo ha pasado ya desde que el noruego Jorn Lande comenzase su andadura en solitario bajo su propio nombre, tras haber comenzado en otros proyectos que le dieron el impulso necesario para mostrar al mundo su carismática voz, concretamente desde 2000 Jorn como banda está en activo, y han editado en este tiempo, y a fecha de esta reseña un total de 15 LP's de estudio. El último de ellos "Over the horizon radar" se publicó en 2022 y de él quiero dejar hoy en el blog uno de sus temas, en concreto "Ode to the black nightshade" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Picking up the pieces
Of my lost refrain
The melodies that I once lost

The future stealing measured time

Some kind of present state of mind

In the shadows walking blind
My words they often never rhyme
But I won't ever leave behind
The colors of my sky

Don't need a reason, life is my season
I make the fire burn for you
The bitter sorrow, but faith tomorrow
I feel the smiling of the moon

There's magic in the dark age
As I write another page, oh yeah

Scanning for a brand new start
A runway for my restless heart
To fly into a world apart

Nightshade, you are always there
To hypnotize and light my flare
Your shadow dances everywhere
Like mysteries to find

On new horizons coming through
