STRIKE!

Otra banda en pleno crecimiento, de esas que va ganando adeptos obra tras obra, algo normal si tenemos en cuenta que se trata de un grupo en el que la calidad siempre está presente. Whispered, finlandeses, como no, son un grupo que tiene un bagaje tras ellos más importante de lo que en un momento concreto se pudiese pensar al ver que como Whispered llevan tocando "solo" desde 2004, pero es que además hay que añadir que desde 2001 hasta 2004 tocaron bajo el nombre de "Zealot". Tras ese cambio de nombre permanecieron unos años en la escena underground y verdaderamente se dieron a conocer más en 2010 con la edición de su primer LP. En total han editado 3 larga duración, en 2010, 2014 y 2016. Su estilo es bastante personal, con un death metal con un cierto aire Power en ocasiones y una influencia oriental también en la temática de sus letras. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog otro tema de su más reciente trabajo, "Metsutan - songs of the void", un disco plagado de buen material,con guiños continuos orientales y una base de death metal técnico de altísimo nivel, como decía al inicio, es una de esas bandas que me dan la sensación de estar en pleno crecimiento y no me sorprendería que diesen la campanada internacional pronto. Dejo hoy en el blog su primer single de esta nueva obra, "Strike!", que como su nombre indica es todo un trayazo del que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.
