GODSEND
Otro grupo de esos que no han llegado ni siquiera a despuntar para verse condenados al olvido antes incluso de poder ser recordados, son los finlandeses "Baranduin", con un solo EP "A Warrior's Death" publicado, y ya separados, toda una tragedia musical para aquellos que amamos este estilo musical entre el Power metal y el black metal melódico y sinfónico. Si te gusta la epicidad y melodía de este tipo de bandas no puedes pasar por alto esta joya. Una banda formada en 2002, y separada tras este EP, como antes decía. Jussi Lahtinen (Bajo), Juho Fabrin (Batería), Panu Siik (Guitarra), Arttu Rantalahti (Guitarra), Olli Hipeli (Teclados) y Witch King (Cantante), nos regalaron con este EP "A Warrior's Death" de 2009, con cinco magníficos temas que demuestran el brutal potencial que atesoraban y la magnitud de la tragedia musical de la no continuidad de esta banda, y no solo eso sino que no parecen haber dejado ninguna clara dirección a la que seguir para encontrar otras bandas surgidas tras su ruptura, o proyectos en los que ver un reflejo de "Baranduin", vamos tan satisfactorio al descubrirles, como frustrante al saber que no encontrarás nada más de ellos, pero bueno, tendremos que conformarnos con su material editado, y además en 2005 editaron una demo, "Ancile" que cuenta con otros tres temas... sea como sea demasiado poco para conformarse.
