TURN  UP  THE  POWER

Auténtico sonido heavy speed metal de la "old school", de la escuela estadounidense, una de las grandes influencias de la época, que no podía ser otra que la década de los ochenta. Estamos una vez más ante una de esas muchas bandas que tuvieron una carrera demasiado breve, con muy poca producción musical y sin embargo con un nivel que les habría hecho merecedores de mucha mejor suerte juzgando los méritos compositivos. Formados en 1983 apenas si llegaron al lustro de actividad con tres demos editados que culminaron en 1986 con un único LP de estudio mucho más que interesante, de título "Rolling Thunder". La propuesta lírica se puede deducir del nombre y logo de la banda, centrándose en un universo post apocalíptico en plan Mad Max, y el tema estilístico también se puede intuir mirando una foto de los integrantes del grupo, a lo heavy metal  de Judas. En definitiva, una obra que será del agrado de los amantes del heavy metal de toda la vida, y de la que hoy dejo en el blog una de sus canciones, en concreto la que abre la obra, "Turn up the power", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
